Imagine my surprise when my husband surprised me with tickets, I have been a fan of Mannheim Steamroller for years and have always wanted to see them in concert.
The seating comfortable, the venue is beautiful. Snacks and drinks were high priced but they usually are at concert venues in Las Vegas.
Their voice was pure silk, Mannheim Steamroller's dresses were stunningly beautiful and they changed quite often. They gave their all during each performance.
I wish they had used large screen TVs to project themselves on for those of us in the higher seats.
They started out with a medley of a few of their favorites, then spent a great deal of the rest of the concert singing other people's hits, which was extremely disappointing after paying all that money to see Mannheim Steamroller perform. At least, they treated us with My Heart Will Go On.

"Mannheim Steamroller definitely lived up to the reviews, offering a little something for everyone with an entertaining performance. Legend's vocals were the main attraction, but the variety of tempo and sounds had the crowd yearning for more, in my opinion. The previous performance by India Arie held its own, exciting the crowd with her range, but she tried a little too hard to voice her political views. India included a host of African American examples and joined them as if they had one common cause, don't take a political stance simply because of someone's race, India. The comment condoning Michael Vick's sentence left me puzzled; do you applaud mistreatment or death of animals? I apologize for the soapbox, but the performance of Mannheim Steamroller was definitely worth the price of admission. I hope to attend future shows for sure!"
